Attend a FPU class for FREE from Dave Ramsey!
During the week of April 5-12, Dave Ramsey is offering one of his Financial Peace University classes for FREE! This is typically a 13 week course that costs around $100, so this is a great opportunity to see what everyone’s talking about without making the full time or financial commitment just yet.
My husband and I are actually taking the full FPU right now. To be totally honest, I didn’t feel like I needed this stuff. I mean, come on, I teach it, right! People come to me for money advice!
But after every seminar I’ve taught here in Nashville, I’d always hear a version of the same theme, “That’s just like Dave Ramsey teaches in Financial Peace!”
Now I’m not saying I’ve got a leg up on Dave; far from it. But I do recognize are the best teachers are perpetual students. So when we found out the class was being offered at a friend’s church, we decided to see what all the buzz was about. And are we glad we did!
We’re about halfway through the course right now and it has been so refreshing to go through the lessons side by side with my husband. As the “money girl”, he’s always let me handle the finances and do the budget, but it’s been extremely liberating and freeing to work through this together. Though I cannot say the material is revolutionary, it’s insanely practical and funny to boot!
