The January 2020 episode of The Sami Cone Show is here to help you start your New Year off right!

We start by helping you revamp your morning routine. Then we help make sense of the Enneagram and explain how you’re more than just a number. We also look at the importance of setting aside some “me” time with a personal planning retreat. Finally, we rethink yoga with a Christ-centered experience, focused on replacing “hustle/heavy/hard” with more opportunity for healing and health.

Episode 5 of The Sami Cone Show originally aired on Friday, January 10, 2020 and re-aired on Saturday, January 11 at Noon.

New Healthy Morning Routine In 4 Steps

The New Year is a perfect time to take stock of your current routine, assess your needs and revamp where necessary.

I’ve divided my healthy morning routine into 4 categories with simple steps you can start today. Click the button below to get started.

Making Sense of the Enneagram: More than a Number

If you’ve lived in Nashville for any length of time, you’ve likely heard of the Enneagram. But what is it and what does it really mean for your everyday life?

I sit down with Enneagram Coach, Evan Barbee, who shares what it is, what it’s not and what it means for our relationships.

Personal Planning Retreats

You can’t know if you’ve met your goals at the end of the year if you never set them in the first place. As women, we have a tendency to put others first, but today we’re going to talk to you about the importance of setting aside some “me time” for a personal planning retreat.

Nicole DiGiacobbe of The Digi Girls joined me to break down what this looks like and preview an exciting adults-only event happening at Gaylord Opryland later this month.

Christ-Centered Yoga

It may be one of the world’s oldest practices, but it still stirs up questions for so many of us. That’s why I’ve asked Keleah Anderson, owner of Abundant Yoga – a Christ-centered yoga studio, to help us re-think yoga.

Sami’s Savings Tip: Review Your Subscriptions, Passwords & Policies

The New Year is a great time to review everything you’ve signed up for, from insurance to magazines. Make sure you’re not paying for something you’re not using and take this opportunity to negotiate a new rate. It’s also important to change your passwords regularly so you don’t get caught up in case of identity theft, which could cost you time AND money.

Before I Go, I Need You to Know: Seek & Ask

In the Bible, Matthew 7:7-8 says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

As you consider what you want out of this New Year, I encourage you to actively seek out what it is you want to accomplish and who can help you get there. Going to the next level can be as simple as reaching out to someone you’ve admired from afar and asking if they would be willing to mentor you. Don’t miss an opportunity because you didn’t dream big enough or plan well enough; you’ll never know until you seek, ask and knock.
