IN MY LIFE:
Today’s news has hit me hard. I used to live in the Mexican state of Sonora when I was a tennis pro, so to learn of the family members who lost their lives has affected me in a way I didn’t expect. Couple that with the emotions of traveling to my cousin’s funeral and preparing for the show today, and I think it’s all just a little overwhelming.
I always want to ask, “WHY?” In a situation like this, but there’s not really an answer that would soothe my soul.
I am excited for you to see my show this Friday: it features yummy food, fun people, great causes and so much more. I’ll share more about it later this week, but for now, it’s important to just focus on soul care.
PRAYER FOCUS: Surrender
In light of some of the hard news I heard today, my nature is to want to understand, but instead I know I need to just trust and surrender to the one who knows all things.
