In my continuing effort to bring you a delicious and affordable meals that can be made in the crockpot, I have another gem for you today…
The individual ingredients in this pot roast recipe may not excite you, but when combined they make magic happen.
Simply put your roast on top of a bed of sliced onions and then sprinkle it with golden onion soup mix. Then whisk together one can of cream of mushroom soup along with a cup of water mixed with beef bouillon cube and a couple teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce. Then season the whole pot with salt, fresh ground pepper and some extra onion and garlic powder. Cook on low for about eight hours and not only will a perfect pot roast emerge, you’ll have a wonderful gravy to boot!
