November 25, 2014: Easy Fall Decor
Stay tuned for some easy fall decor tips coming up!
I’m not much of a decorator and I am certainly not one to spend money on decorations that you only use a month or so out of the year, so today I have some simple tips for some easy and cheap but beautiful fall decorations.
The first is to take advantage of foliage right outside your door. A couple of Holly Bush branches in a vase or even some sprigs nestled on a table runner add the perfect fall touch at your Thanksgiving meal.
Second, let the kids help. This is the perfect occassion for construction paper napkin rings or even placements made from outlining hands to make turkeys.
Finally, let your food speak for itself. The rich colors of fall, as echoed in pumpkin and cranberry filled dishes, ought to be the star of your Thanksgiving table. Making use of what you already have on hand is not only financially wise, but it’s family wise too.
