My family recently got to experience the Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge menu, arcade bowling, and more with our teens. This new Guy Fieri restaurant and entertainment complex in East Tennessee is worth the visit, especially with the whole family. Come get a glimpse of how we ate and played around in Downtown Flavortown.
Visiting Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge
More often than not, we travel to destinations and then have to find places to eat. Rarely do we travel to a destination BECAUSE of a place to eat. But when that place lets you eat, play, bowl, drink and shop, it becomes a destination of its own. Welcome to Downtown Flavortown in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Downtown Flavortown with Teens
As we thought through ways to celebrate the end of summer before school started, an opportunity presented itself. I was invited to cover Dolly Parton’s announcement of a new attraction coming to Dollywood in 2023.
Likewise, when I interviewed Guy Fieri in Nashville earlier this year, they invited us to experience Downtown Flavortown the next time we were in Pigeon Forge. Hence, the ultimate teen day trip was born.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure how we would fit everything into one day, including driving up and back from Nashville. But thanks to the heat and teenagers’ short attention span, we spent about 4 hours at Dollywood and then were ready to enjoy the refreshment that only Flavortown could provide.
One thing I appreciated most about Downtown Flavortown was the “all-in-one” aspect of it. There was so much to see, do and eat there. But more than that, I feel like if we didn’t want to follow our kids around, we could have sat at the tiki bar for hours and let the teenagers just do their thing.
The Downtown Flavortown Arcade
After a long, hot day at Dollywood, I thought the first thing our teens would want to do was eat. I was wrong. They couldn’t wait to head to the Downtown Flavortown Arcade.
We discovered over 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art arcade games ranging from redemption to virtual reality and beyond.
As a parent, I appreciated that everything was clean, open, and well-lit. The options were plentiful, from traditional arcade games to fully-immersive experiences.
There was also no shortage of multi-player games for our whole family to play together. (We may or may not have spent an unusual amount of time playing basketball Connect Four).
And of course, the hunt for tickets was at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge Menu
Let’s not forget that first and foremost, people expect food with anything attached to Guy Fieri. Spoiler alert: the food is good. This is not your typical themed celebrity restaurant with overpriced menu items. Everything we ate was creative and flavorful.
That being said, let’s examine the Downtown Flavortown Menu.
