The LifeWay Women dot Mom Conference is back for year two in September 2012 and not only am I hosting a ticket giveaway, but I’m also speaking there!
That’s right, on September 21-22, I’ll be in Birmingham, AL for the second year of the dot Mom conference for women…and Lifeway has graciously donated two tickets for me to giveaway to a lucky reader on SamiCone.com!
The dot Mom event is great because not only is it a short drive from Nashville, but they recognize that us moms don’t have long to getaway, so it only runs from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. I’ll be teaching two breakout sessions:
*Pursuing your Passions
*Identity: Who you are is not determined by what you do
I’m so excited about the .Mom conference because it’s featuring some of my favorite people (& mentors!). In fact one of my favorite people in the world will be there and you won’t want to her:
* Jackie Kendall – my spiritual mama who was instrumental in helping me develop and grow my relationship with Christ as well as helping me learn to have healthy relationships all around! I love this woman for her big personality, passionate pursuit of Christ and willingness to continue to dwell in the Word of God. People mistake us for mother and daughter all the time, and I never mind 😉 Jackie wrote the classic, Lady in Waiting, and has since authored a follow up, A Man Worth Waiting For: How to Avoid a Bozo (which I was fortunate enough to help research) as well as the delightful Lady in Waiting for Little Girls & The Mentoring Mom.
Of course you’ll hear from other great speakers, like Vicky Courtney, Jen Hatmaker and my friend and fellow Nashville blogger Kelly Hancock, not to mention some great worship artists.
Registration for this two day event is only $79, but you can win 2 free tickets right here on SamiCone.com! But don’t wait to enter; since dot Mom is coming up soon, you only have a few days to win. Check out all the ways you can enter:
