One of my absolute favorite ways to save money at Disney World is to plan your vacation when they offer their free dining plan. This typically happens in September when most kids are back in school, but in the past two years they have extended it into their fall months as well.
Not only is this their low season, which means shorter lines around the parks, but it allows you and your family to enjoy one of the most underrated parts of Disney parks: the food. Our kids especially love the character dining, which can be out of our budget when bought alone, but with the free dining plan, we get to take advantage of all those experiences and more.
