Disney Cruise Hurricane Ian {Daily Dash: September 28, 2022}

IN MY LIFE:
A cruise ship may be the last place most people want to be during a hurricane, but rest assured, we feel safe in the capable hands of the Disney cruise line cast & crew.
We spent the day at their private island, castaway cay, yesterday. We were supposed to port in Nassau today, but due to weather, we are spending the day at sea, sailing away from the storm and into safer waters.
We have seen dark skies, lightning and high seas, not to mention a lot of rain, but at no time have I felt unsafe.
They added some fun activities for us to pass the time while on board today, including a cooking demonstration, ultimate Disney trivia and of course, incredible Disney movies and live shows. And of course, there is no lack of delicious food and quiet alcoves to
I do know that Walt Disney World has closed today and tomorrow because of the storm. Let me know what questions you want me to ask while I am on board about what to do during storms and natural disasters while on a Disney vacation.
PRAYER FOCUS: Missions
As we sail around the ocean, I can’t help but think of how many people are suffering while we are on board this incredible ship. I pray we all keep the plight of others in our prayers today.
