IN MY LIFE:
When people visit Nashville, they love visiting lower Broadway. (That’s where all the ‘honky tonks’ are and the part of inevitable you inevitably see on TV whenever they show a 3-second shot of Music City!).
Broadway ends at the Cumberland River and sits across the river from Nissan Stadium, where the Tennessee Titans Play. Most recently, it played host to the NFL draft.
What I didn’t realize was just how many rooftop bars there were here! This week, I was invited to an event on the rooftop of Dierks’ Bentley’s Whiskey Row. I was amazed at how incredible it was and the sweeping views of the city I was treated to.
Locals don’t often head downtown unless we have guests in town, but this experience made me want to change that. They introduced us to some of their favorite menu items, including my two new favorites: Buffalo Cauliflower & BBQ Chicken Salad.
They also had an incredibly flavorful steak sandwich, as well as other lighter items, including Chicken Primavera (with zucchini noodles), a Spinach Berry Salad and Artisan Hummus.
The only bad thing I can say about my experience at Whiskey Row: Dierks himself never showed up to sing to me 😞 I truly thought that after our encounter at the North Italia restaurant opening, we’d become BFFs, but obviously I need to keep working on that. I guess I need to keep showing up a Whiskey Row and hope for the best 🙂
PRAYER FOCUS: Prosperity & Peace
