In today’s Daily Dash video, June 26 2014, I share about my packed day that involves a trip to the counselor and some steps to prevent me from getting pulled over next month…
The Daily Dash: June 26, 2014 {Counselor, Championship & an Early Birthday Gift}
IN THE NEWS:
*Teen’s potential massacre thwarted
*GM asks dealers to stop selling Chevy Cruze’s because of possible airbag defect
*USA plays Germany in World Cup today
*Vanderbilt Commodores win College World Series!
IN MY LIFE:
*Renewing car registration after realizing it expires this month, not next month!
*A trip to our marriage counselor for an individual session to discuss this week
*A meeting with my book agent to review my proposal
*Kid’s tennis lesson – it brings me so much joy to see them on the court (even though Kariss is NOT a fan…but she’s so good!)
My husband also surprised me with a new Alex and Ani bracelet as an early birthday present – I discovered these beauties while at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in Disneyland a couple months ago and absolutely fell in love. As a gold jewelry girl, it can be difficult to find pieces that are fun AND affordable. I especially love how they represent different sentiments, favorite locations and even your college and pro sports teams. I HEART you, Alex and Ani.
Hope you make it a great day!

I think you are doing a fantastic thing by realizing things are out of sorts for you. I am praying for you and I am also praying that your talk with your counselor today brings you an avenue to find peace! We all have our moments of chaos and instability… I am an advocate of doing whatever is necessary for positive mental health!! I take an anti-anxiety medication and am grateful for it!! It really does keep me on a more even keel… I cannot do this alone and I am okay… Thank you for sharing your journey. And I love the bracelet… You are a lucky lady!! Hugs my friend!! 🙂
I appreciate your constant encouragement, Gayle!
