IN MY LIFE:
Well, a lot has happened since I last came to you live from Disney World: my SIL gave birth to a baby girl (on the same day as my BIL’s birthday), we celebrated my aunt’s birthday and also gave my best friend a sendoff party as she prepares to move. I’m thankful we were able to be in Florida to be a part of it all.
It’s all the month I know you’ve been waiting for all year: The Month of Project 615!
Even if you’re not a regular viewer of The Daily Dash, you know that my favorite clothing to wear on camera (and just about anywhere) comes from Project 615.
If you’re not familiar with the brand, they are an apparel company focused on serving others by selling high quality products (including Tanks, Tees, Headwear & Accessories) that advocate for world-changing causes. Since 2010, they have been able to hire 49 people recovering from homelessness, addiction, and mental illness. In addition to mission hires, they have also been able to give away over $350,000 to causes around the world. Oh, and their designs are also super cool and their shirts are super comfy. What’s not to love?
So every day in July you’ll find me sporting a different Project 615 tee, tank and/or hat – and featuring new designs all this week (with the exception of today, which is one of their most popular designs, but it’s new for me…previously I’ve only owned the “Love Your Neighbor” sweatshirt.)
And why July? Well, in addition to it being the birthday month for me and my daughter, Project 615 will be celebrating their 8th birthday in just 2 weeks as well! I’ll have more info on their birthday bash soon, as well as another special announcement on Friday featuring their latest campaign tee.
