I think I’ve only been to the grocery store once this month (in addition to stopping by Sam’s for some produce: they have pineapples for just over $2, a carton of 14 kiwis for $4, a big carton of organic mixed greens for $4 and 2 lbs of strawberries for $2.50. I don’t typically shop at the warehouse clubs because I feel like I can get things cheaper with coupons at my local grocery store, but they’ve been having great deals on produce lately.
We’re eating up what we have in preparation for being gone some next month (more on that later), so we’re still keeping it simple, but trying some new varieties of old favorites. I also tried a recipe from Olive Garden (Pollo Rocca: Stay tuned for a giveaway later this week!) and it was SO good and easy!
