July 7, 2014: Camping on a Budget
Think camping is the cheapest way to take a vacation? You might want to think again…
I used to think camping was a cheap way to take my family on vacation…but then I did it! If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can overspend on everything from gear to food and supplies.
In order to discover everything you’ll need for that family campout, why not try a night in your backyard first.
After that and BEFORE you invest in upgrading your lanterns, tent, and air mattresses, consider borrowing gear from your friends first. Not only does it save money, but it helps you discover what features you really like and what you truly need.
