May 26, 2015: Budget Campouts

Camping can get pricey quickly, but if you follow my tips today, you’ll be sitting pretty around the campfire with your budget in tact…

If you’re planning on camping soon, don’t rush out to buy all new gear. Instead, pool together what you have or borrow from friends.

Since you’ll most likely be doing a lot of exploring, put together as many meal essentials as you can at home before you go and skip the expensive convenience packaging so many manufacturers try to sell you.

And finally, take a test run in your backyard before your trip to find out what it is you actually need before you go.

Following these three simple steps will ensure your next campout won’t be your family’s last!
