May 13, 2015: Assemble a Team
When it comes to accomplishing your dream wedding on a budget, they key is assembling a team…
Yesterday I shared how I created the inserts to my wedding invitation on a simple word processing program and had them printed at a commercial printer. The main text of the invitation itself was printed on basic paper with a sheet of vellum over it. All were assembled into a folio made from cardstock, which wouldn’t have been possible to put together without a team.
That’s right, we had an invitation making party!
I gathered my bridesmaids, family and friends and set up a makeshift assembly line. All I did was set up stations with clear instructions, provide some drinks and appetizers, and by the end of the evening, we had our invitations completed, stuffed and stamped…all for a fraction at what it would have cost to be done professionally.
