When our family got to go to Disney earlier this month, I was given a gift from my best friend and former roommate: the gift of time.
On our last night in Orlando, Carolyn drove two hours after work to join us for dinner at our hotel and ended up staying until the wee hours because we just couldn’t get enough of each other!
This picture didn’t seem sufficient to capture our time together:
Not bad considering this was about 10pm, and after Carolyn had been in the car for hours and we had been at a theme park all day! However, we didn’t think that it was fair after not seeing each other for months that we should only have one picture to remember this moment by.
So, along with my creative and crafty husband, we decided to simulate a longer vacation via this picture montage:
We managed to get a picture of all three of us, but it wasn’t easy (it seems that most people who are still awake past midnight at Disney World don’t speak English!)
Then things start to get a bit wacky…
We thought by trying on different clothes we could make it seem like these weren’t all taken in the same night….think we succeeded?
A quick trip to the toiletry aisle…
And of course who could pass up the Mickey kitchen accessories?
And perhaps my favorite pic from the whole shoot:
What do you need for a long drive home? Candy, Candy, Candy!!!!
Growing up in the 90’s baby!
I can’t thank my sweet friend enough for making the trip to Orlando to see us. We definitely made the most of the hours we had!
