The weight loss tracking continues in week 3 of my online weight loss journal! (and on video through our healthy pantry series!)

This week was a tough one for me from an eating perspective. We went out of town for a weekend, had three different sets of Florida friends visit us here in Nashville (which also meant eating out) and then topped it off with Courtney & Luke’s fabulous wedding the next weekend.

Oh, and did I mention it was also a ‘bad time of the month’ for me as well? Enough said on that… I know I have male readers out there too!

So, all that being said, I think I actually gained some weight during the week and then lost it again before my official personal weigh in. I guess I should be content that I ended up at the same weight and not packing pounds back on!

Regardless, I know this is a gradual life change and one that is forever. Long gone are the days of trying to starve myself for bikini season or squeeze into a prom dress (thank God!). The principles we’re putting into practice now are those that will not only serve us forever, but will hopefully be ones that are children adopt as well.

So in my continuing effort to be transparent on this journey, here are the stats:

Starting weight: 170 (I weighed 172 when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter – ouch!)

Week 1 weight: 167

Week 2 weight: 164

Week 3 weight: 164

What’s more important is that I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time and I think I’m starting to look better to! Just check us out at the wedding:

Are you sticking with me on this journey? I hope so! Make sure to check out our pantry clean out video series and head over to our friends at HealthyOates.com who are helping us along the way.
