During our time together I asked them some of the following questions:
- You started out in your teens and young adults, and now you all have your own families and different careers, what was it like coming back together in the studio and re-creating some of your classics?
- Can you tell everyone about the special anniversary you’re celebrating this year?
- Out of Eden debuted on Gotee Records in 1994 and re-released their debut hit, “Lovely Day,” on Oct. 4.

Lovely Day
Out of Eden debuted on Gotee Records in 1994 and re-released their debut hit, “Lovely Day,” on Oct. 4. Over the course of their career from 1994 to 2006, they received critical acclaim, Grammy nominations, and multiple Dove nominations, including two wins.
I was thrilled to spend more time with these ladies than a red carpet normally affords me. They are genuine, real, and of course, so talented.
