IN MY LIFE:
Today was supposed to be tax day, but thanks to the Coronavirus, that’s been postponed until this summer. So instead of worrying about spreadsheets and receipts, most people are just focused on how they’re going to get through another week without work.
As scary and uncertain as this time can be, I’m trying to take it all in. Today is an unseasonably cold and sunny day for April here in Nashville, so I’ve picked up my computer and come outside. I know there won’t be many days where I can work from a lounge chair on the driveway while watching my son shoot hoops, so I’m making the most of every minute.
Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing today, it’s my hope that you’ll recognize this time for what it is: a unique moment in history unlike any other that can either conquer us or redefine us. I pray you’ll choose the latter.
PRAYER FOCUS: Generosity
Even though many of us are out of work and watching our finances, I pray we are all still generous with our time and finances.
