I’m honored to announce that I’ve been asked to participate in Crowd Surf for a Cause this Saturday at Opryland! Crowd Surf for a Cause is a publicity event to build awareness for SoundWaves and The Store; donations to The Store will be made by Gaylord Opryland on behalf of the event participants.
The FlowRider event is just one part of a larger weekend package for hotel guests called “Nashville with a Splash”, which includes accommodations, food and beverage samplings, and a songwriters round with Steve Moakler and friends. The doors open to SoundWaves package guests at 10am sharp. The event will start at that time as well with demonstrations by Pro Jon Reese. The contest will begin at 10:15am and should end by 11am.
The best part is Gaylord Opryland will donate $500 to The Store on behalf of each person who can stay “up” for 30 seconds on the FlowRider® via a body board or surf board. (Pray for me!!!)
You’ll definitely want to make plans to come cheer us on, if you haven’t already, because I’m just 1 of 10 Nashville Media Personalities and celebrities participating…including Chris Kirkpatrick of ‘N SYNC.
