IN MY LIFE:
We’ve seen Black Friday, Small Business Saturday has come and gone, and many of you are still sleepy from Cyber Monday, but don’t let that stop you from participating in Giving Tuesday today.
There are so many non-profits we love and partner with throughout the year that it would be hard to mention them all here. But the point isn’t so much WHO you give to, as long as you just GIVE something.
I realize not everyone can give money right now, but that’s OK. Use whatever currency you have – whether that’s a shout-out on social media or making phone calls on behalf of an organization you value.
Or consider doing what I did last week and simply stop by your local Fire Department just to say “thank you” and bring them some goodies. Whatever it is, it will be appreciated, not just today, but any day.
Tonight is also the annual Lighting of the Green at Lipscomb. This is the 14th anniversary of the event that’s hosted by Amy Grant every year. It’s a free event with great music and a fabulous way to kick-off the holiday season!
PRAYER FOCUS: Generous
