IN MY LIFE:
We made it through the first (half) day of school and if you were to ask me, I think it went pretty well; of course, I wasn’t there, but considering the kids were at a new school and my daughter was starting high school, I think the transition was a seamless as it could be.
Thunderstorms started today which will thwart my son’s first tennis team practice, but the rain is always a welcome change for me. It was also sad to hear of Aretha Franklin’s passing, but then again, I’m also reminded that for every celebrity that passes, thousands more of you are also dealing with the loss of loved ones. If that’s you today, know that you’re being thought of and prayer over.
PRAYER FOCUS: Nurturing
As I pray that my kids reach out to others, I pray that they too offer support and encouragement to those around them.
