IN MY LIFE:
Today marks the arrival of Marvel’s Black Panther on Blu-ray & 4K. The in-home release of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is packed with bonus material including deleted scenes, outtakes and never-before-seen featurettes, including an exclusive gag reel complete with comedy bloopers and slapstick slip-ups from the set of the movie. (For instance, did you know the cast had to complete a grueling six-week boot camp in Atlanta prior to filming?).

Black Panther is a highly-celebrated story of a young African prince named T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman), but what particularly stood out to me (other than the stunning images the film creates) was the fierce group of Wakandan women, including Nakia (Academy Award® winner Lupita Nyong’o), a War Dog and Wakandan spy; Shuri (Letitia Wright), T’Challa’s little sister and tech wizard; and the Dora Milaje, the all-female Wakandan Special Forces led by Okoye (Danai Gurira). Can we all say GIRL POWER?!

But we’re not the only ones taking notice of Black Panther: on our trip to DC this weekend, we actually found a Black Panther poster in the Library of Congress under glass (yes, THE Library of Congress). I don’t think I’m overstating facts when I say this movie is a global cultural phenomenon.

Black Panther has dominated the box office charts emerging as the third biggest movie of all time domestically and as of today, you can bring it home to enjoy whenever you want with your family.

PRAYER FOCUS: Eagerness
I read yesterday that we need to develop godly habits to keep the word of God living and active in us, and in order for that to happen, we need to have an eagerness about us to allow God to work in and through us. I pray you approach life with eagerness today!
