August 19, 2015: Creativity with Kitchen Gear
Next time your kids get bored, you just might want to head for the kitchen, and I don’t mean for a snack…
Let’s face it, kids get bored with what they have, so next time they’re looking to be entertained, why not repurpose some things you probably already have in your kitchen cabinets?
Try poking holes in plastic Chinese soup containers to use as a bug catcher.
Have kids sort LEGOS by color in egg cartons or use those same egg cartons to mix paint for an art project.
While you’re at it, put some glitter in old salt shakers to sprinkle on those masterpieces!
Think of what you have laying around and kids will have fun simply because they’re using things in a way they never have before.
And why not grab old cookie trays for your next road trip? They work great for magnetic games or even to corral crayon
