In today’s Daily Dash video, April 9 2015, sent off another round of edits, back teaching and trying to play catch-up on everything else that’s gone by the wayside, but instead of complaining about my situation, I’ve realized an important tweak to make in my daily speech…
The Daily Dash: April 9 2015 {I Get To}
IN THE NEWS:
* Car cam to be released in SC cop murder case
* 10 tornadoes touch down in Midwest
* Boston bomber found guilty on all counts
IN MY LIFE:
Loving: Oil pulling. If you’re more interested in this, I can do a post on it, but I’ve been oil pulling for the past 3 weeks and I’m believing that I’m seeing the positive effects of it.
Learning: Instead of waking up saying “I have to” everyday, I need to start saying, “I get to”. An encounter with a homeless man I’d been hoping to have a conversation with over the past few weeks really influenced this realization.
Doing: Teaching at Lipscomb again today (hard to believe this is my last true lecture day for the term!), trying to catch up on everything that doesn’t have to do with book editing, and looking forward to having my friend and AMAZING Site Manager, Brenna, over for dinner tonight!
