Here is my free weekly meal planner for the week of September 1, 2014.
It appears I’ve taken the summer off from my meal planning 😉
Well, maybe not taken the summer off when it comes to actually planning meals for my family, but in terms of sharing those meal plans with you.
Not only are we getting back into a regular routine with school, but my husband is getting ready to go back out on the road with Plumb’s Fall Tour, so as we start September, it seemed like a good time to get back on track with sharing my meal plans.
I’ve also committed to teaching my daughter how to cook something new each week. I figure if a ten year old knows how to cook 50+ dishes after a year, she’s on a good start towards some solid life skills.
If you remember, I also switched our eMeals plan from Paleo to Slow Cooker – I felt like I’d gotten a ton of great ideas from the Paleo plan already and needed a little more education in using a slow cooker, so I’m going to try to incorporate those more, especially on Mondays & Wednesdays when I’m working on iBlog magazine all day!
Remember, if you also want some help on breakfast & lunch, check out my meal plan archives or eMeals for help in that category).
As always, I hope you take what’s helpful for you and just leave what’s not. Here you go:
Free Weekly Meal Planner: September 1, 2014
Monday: Outback (I know, I know, I ironic that the first day of our meal plan involves eating out, but it’s our son’s half birthday, and that means he gets to chose whatever he wants for dinner…)
Tuesday:Â Scrambles Hamburgers with chips and pickles
Wednesday:Â 20 Garlic Crockpot Chicken with broccoli & potatoes
Thursday:Â Fettuccine Alfredo (Of course, I went straight to The Pioneer Woman for her easy and indulgent recipe)
Friday:Â Pizza
Saturday:Â Shredded chicken quesadillas with refried black beans
Sunday:Â Pad Thai
What are you eating in your home this week?
