This seems to happen more often than not lately with the Disney movies: I end up liking them more once I watch them on DVD than I did when seeing them in the theater.

Maybe it’s because I get the chance to listen to it over and over and over (and did I mention over and over?) again in the back of the minivan as I drive around town, so I truly hone in on the script…which I have to admit made me laugh out loud.

When I asked my kids why the liked Planes so much, they said the loved the underlying storyline (no joke – their words exactly!). Basically, they LOVE a good underdog story 🙂

My kids were also super excited to learn about the American Airlines Disney Planes giveaway within the DVD case. I recently flew American Airlines and loved seeing them using their cartoon American Airlines plane in their promo videos on board too! Even if you saw Disney Planes in the theater, I guarantee you have yet to see this deleted scene featuring Dusty and Ishani flying over the Taj Mahal before it was updated to look like the final version included in the film.
