I caught up with Keatyn at Gaylord Opryland Resort for the November episode of The Sami Cone Show. We learned some of her best Christmas decor tips, such as:
- Start with lighting your tree (branch by branch, going in and out)
- Then add wired ribbon
- Place large ball ornaments anywhere there are holes in the tree
- Use a blanket or fur for instead of a tree skirt to cover the bottom of the tree
- Place fake wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree to complete the look
Keatyn also recommends using zip ties to secure lights to trees as Opryland does. Opryland also individually wraps light around their garland and hand-ties their ribbon, which she emulates.
