In today’s Daily Dash video, October 14 2014, the storms avoided us last night and after three weeks, we’re back to being a four again…at least for a couple days 😉

The Daily Dash: October 14 2014

IN THE NEWS:
* More information emerging about the young nurser who contracted Ebola in Dallas – the first person to person transmission in the US
* Deadly Southern storms kill 2 last night and continue to affect South & East today (luckily we fared well in our part of Nashville)
* American Airlines plane cracks in air, causes emergency landing in San Francisco, but no-one hurt
* North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un makes first public appearance in 40 days

IN MY LIFE:
* After all my daughter’s emergency preparedness last night, we ended up not having to hide in the closet after all!
* Teaching at Lipscomb University today
* My husband is home!
* I may have actually convinced K to play basketball! The “draft” is going on at the community center tonight, so we’ll see how that goes…
