In today’s Daily Dash video, December 17 2014, I found a sweet reminder in my journal today from exactly 1 year ago…

N THE NEWS:
* Misspoke in my video yesterday: the school attack was in Pakistan, not Palestine, and the death toll rises to 141
* American Alan Gross who’d been held in a Cuban prison for 5 years on espionage charges released and returned to US
* Theaters pulling new Sony movie after threats

IN MY LIFE:
* LOVING: New Tommy Nelson books just in time for Christmas: God Bless Our Christmas & A Star for Me. Check them out via the Amazon links or enter to win your choice of one of the books by entering below!

* LEARNING: I found a note in my journal from EXACTLY 1 year ago today when I was in Ecuador with Operation Christmas Child. It was written on the hotel notepad and served as a simple yet important reminder: “Do much with what you have”.

* DOING: Lots of meetings & planning for 2015 today, but looking forward to some baking for teachers, class parties & neighbors, as well as a LIVE Rudolph show at TPAC tonight.
