In today’s Daily Dash video, December 1 2014, Happy December! I pray you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! We had a slight change of plans and ended up cooking at our house, but it was truly wonderful. We then spent 2 nights at Gaylord Opryland Resort and experienced ICE! & the Rockettes (more on that to come), plus everything below, so I have a lot to catch you up on today!

The Daily Dash: The Daily Dash: December 1 2014 {Cyber Monday}

IN THE NEWS:
* Ray Rice’s wife Janay speaks out for first time; he’s released to play in NFL again
* Darren Wilson resigns from Ferguson police force; 5 players from St. Louis Rams come out on field wth hands up
* congressional aid under fire for criticizing Obama’s daughters on Facebook
* David Beckham and son Brooklyn injured in a London car crash
* Sony Pictures hacked- blaming North Korea
* Cyber Monday!

IN MY LIFE:
I’m starting something new today on the Daily Dash called “Loving. Learning. Doing.” – every day I’ll be sharing something I found that I love, something I’m learning about and then something I’m doing that day. (I figure that will be more interesting than just sharing my schedule!) So let’s get started!

* LOVING: Wondering how I’m getting such a great angle with the camera today? It’s my new X-Shot PRO extender  with the mobile phone adapter.  It’s also allowed me to take those great “GROUPIES” you may have seen this weekend on Instagram for Thanksgiving HERE and at the Grand Ole Opry to see the Rockettes HERE.

* LEARNING: Did you see what else I was up to yesterday?  Our kitchen faucet had been dripping water since Thanksgiving, so we headed over to Costco and found a lovely replacement faucet for $30 AND I REPLACED IT!!! Granted, it took several hours, BUT I DID IT just by reading the directions and watching a couple YouTube videos so I didn’t destroy any water lines. Now to tackle those pesky toilets…

* DOING: Yes, you may also have seen on Instagram that we finally gave in and allowed our daughter to foster a puppy. Her name is Plymouth, she’s 7 weeks old and we have her for a week from Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue. However, if you know me, you also know I’m allergic to many animals and don’t stay in one place for too long, so I’m not optimistic that she’ll be staying in our home past this week – though I will admit – she is quite cute.
