I couldn’t let today pass without wishing a Happy 6th Anniverary to my best friend, biggest supporter, partner in life, the father of my children, my prince, all I’ve ever dreamed of and everything I could never have known to hope for – my husband, Ricky!
I am so blessed to be on this journey of life with you. Every day is a new adventure and I couldn’t imagine going through it with anyone else!
I wanted to publicly brag on my handsome and talented husband by wishing him a Happy Anniversary today! I went into a further detail on our family blog, The Cone Home, but I’ll let this public display of adoration suffice for this forum 
My fabulous friend, Carolyn, took this amazing picture on our recent trip to Disney World for my birthday and I am so grateful for friendship, passion and talent!

I hope each and every dad out there know what a special role God has equipped him for. I know holidays can often bring feelings of hurt, sadness and anger instead of the expected joy and celebration.
Regardless of the experience you have with your own father, I pray that you celebrate him today in the knowledge that our Heavenly Father was the first daddy and will exceedingly meet all our needs. Don’t look today at what your father has done to you or for you as much as I hope you look at how you can serve and honor him.
Thank you dad, for being one of the most consistent men I know. I Love You and am so grateful for you (and that your voice is back!)

One thing that I’ve learned about my husband is that I can tell how people know him by what they call him…
*If they’ve met him through Starbucks, they know him as Richard (there was already a Rick and a Ricky when he first started there 6 years ago, so he’s been Richard ever since!)
*If people met him in college or after he returned to Florida, he’s typically Rick, but….
*Family always called him “little Ricky”, since his dad is Rick also. So those of us you who have known him all his life, especially the Hobe Sound crew, still usually call him Ricky. Since I knew his sister for years before I ever knew him, I’ve always called him Ricky, and so have my best friends.
Whatever you call him and however long you’ve known him, just be sure you call him today and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
I wont bore those of you who don’t know me well, but today’s my husband’s birthday, and I wanted to pulicly pronounce how much I love him, how blessed I am to be with him and how grateful I am to God for knowing just what to give me in a husband!
