Have you ever felt so strongly about something that you knew you had to make it happen no matter what?

My friends Matthew Paul and Jessica Turner experienced exactly that when they noticed a void in children’s literature.

Though MPT has many books to his credit, he never wrote a children’s book before. But as a father of two, with a baby on the way, he noticed a void that he felt called to fill.

Out of that need and desire for something different for his own children to read, he wrote God Made Light.

This beautifully illustrated children’s book not only recounts biblical truth, that reminds them that God is always with them, even in the dark and scary times of life.

While I would say that this book is perfect for the six and under crowd, my 8 and 10-year-olds still appreciated it, especially the bright and colorful illustrations.

Perhaps but I appreciate even more are the products the Turner’s designed, along with Dayspring, to complement the book.

You can also purchase a floor puzzle, nightlight, and my personal favorite, lunchbox notes that also leave a section on the back of each for you to write something personal to your child.

You can also download free God Made Light activity sheets from their website.

So whether you’re looking for a gift for a friend who just had a baby or possibly even for the upcoming holidays, would you consider supporting my friends passion project by purchasing God Made Light?

If you decide to purchase God Made Light through these links, or the God Made Light Dayspring Products, I will make a small percentage of the sale at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you. This is not why I’m sharing about this book; I simply believe in the talent of my friends!
