As preparations continue for the 2012 Nashville Nutcracker put on by the Nashville Ballet, a very important event occurred and I got to go behind the scenes for it: the costume fittings!
One of the biggest misconceptions that was debunked for me was the cost involved with being a part of the cast of the Nashville Nutcracker. The youth cast actually borrows costumes, not only do they get to wear amazing, professional quality costumes, but they do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on it either!
Kariss is quite thrilled with her garden fairy costume in white & pink silk and I even heard there will be something they get to wear in their hair as well, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see on that part of the costume…
