In Nashville, it seems this year the offer is only valid at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. (kids are free!).

The Hermitage Free Admission Day- January 8

On January 8th The Hermitage is having a free admission day to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans.  It happens every year on January 8th because of the battle.

You don’t want to pass up this great deal, its FREE! This is the only free day all year at The Hermitage, where regular-price tickets are: $19, or $16 for seniors, and $14 for students ages 13-18.

The free lighting ceremony will begin at 5:15 pm and the public is welcome.

The lighting ceremony marks the beginning of their 29th annual Country Christmas celebration that will run through January 1, 2013.
