July 30, 2014: Baking Soda Hair Therapy

While many are paying hundreds of dollars for hair therapies, you just might find the best option in your pantry…

Recently, I was looking to give my hair a boost. I’d just removed a box of baking soda from my fridge and without thinking too much, took it into the shower with me. When I came out, I discovered my hair felt softer than ever!

I simply scooped 2 tablespoons of soda into the palm of my hands, mixed it with a few drops of water, then massaged it on my scalp before shampooing. Compared to Keratin treatments that can run over a hundred dollars, this therapy was a fraction of the time and money, with remarkably better results!

Next time you need a quick beauty fix, don’t be afraid to look in your pantry first!
